Gather up your unwanted items for the neighborhood garage sale on Saturday, June 2nd. There are no fees to participate, just set up your sale and open your garage.  The sale begins around 8:00 am and runs until about 4:00 pm.  You are also invited to do a preview sale the night before for the neighbors.  If you would like to participate with the preview, just open your garage Friday around 7:00 pm. Ads will be placed in the Kansas City Star and the Sun Tribune Newspapers.  Signs for the garage sale will go up a week prior to the sale.

Neighborhood Dumpster will be available Monday & Tuesday, June 4th and 5th:

Brittany Oaks will once again provide a dumpster for our neighborhood to use during their spring cleaning projects (and anything that might be left over from your garage sale!). The dumpster will be placed in the church parking lot on Monday and Tuesday, June 4th & 5th.
The dumpster use is for Brittany Oaks Homeowners ONLY. The dumpster will be monitored, so any “unwelcomed” items will be subject to a $100 fine.

Here are some guidelines:

• Please break down bulky objects as much as possible in order to minimize wasted space in the dumpster. This was a problem last year!
• No major appliances.
• No tires or batteries.
• No liquid paint, motor oil or hazardous materials.
• No brush/yard waste.

The Park Hill Board of Education created a committee to redistrict elementary school boundaries before the district’s 10th elementary school opens in Aug. 2012. The redistricting will balance enrollment among the 10 elementary schools. All nine current elementary schools’ boundaries could be impacted by redistricting.

The committee has evaluated eleven different redistricting scenarios and has identified two draft scenarios to present to the public for feedback.  The two draft scenarios are attached below in Redistricting Documents. 

An online comment portal is also available for public to submit feedback.  A link to the feedback form can be found below in Park Hill Redistricting Feedback Form.
