Meeting at Hope Fellowship Baptist Church began at 7:00 pm

Current Neighborhood Updates
- BOHA dues are used to continue to maintain easement and retention areas.
- Quality Lawn and Landscaping provides mowing services as well as keeping these areas free from trash to help maintain easement and retention areas.
- QLL mow and maintain weed control of the front entrance on the east side of Conant.
- QLL also mow and maintain back entrance off of Mace road where the new sidewalk was installed.
Sprinkler at the front entrance – Small company takes care of the sprinkler annual maintenance.
Planting annuals in pots and maintaining perennials are volunteer services provided by a board member.
Landscaping- Quality Lawn performed Spring cleaning and replaced the mulch and remove weeds, brush, and dead grass, and the walkway on 81st Court.
Sidewalk on Mace Road- Completed.
Trees- Second phase of trimming of tress on Conant is complete.
Pet Waste- As a reminder, please pick up your dog waste and carry a plastic bag to pick up your dog waste. Complaints may be referred to Kansas City 311 Action as it is a city ordinance,
Sec. 14-19 – Disposal of manure: removal of waste states:
(a) All manure accumulations in any pen, run, cage or yard establishment wherein any animal or fowl is kept shall be removed or disposed of in such a manner as to prevent the breeding of flies and the creation of offensive, disagreeable, or noxious smells or odors.
(b) It shall be unlawful for the person in control of a dog, cat or other animals or fowl to allow the dog, cat or other animals or fowl to deposit manure on public property or on the private property of another person.
(c) The owner or keeper of every animal or fowl shall be responsible for the removal of any excreta deposit by such animal or fowl on public walks, streets, recreation areas of private property. It shall be a violation of this chapter for such owner or keeper to fail to remove or provide for the removal of such excreta before taking an animal or fowl from the immediate area where such excretion occurred.
(d) (Code of Gen. Ords, 1967 §6.17; Ord No. 48707, 6-22-78; Ord No. 65201, 3-1-90).
Removal of Yard Waste- Please refrain from dumpling leaves, tree clippings, twigs, etc… in the street or dumping them in the sewer. They can be taken to the recycling center on Saturday mornings, or a composite service will pick it up for a small fee.
By-Laws Compliance -The Board just want to extend “Thanks” to all the BO residents who abides by the BO bylaws with respect to annual payment of dues, storage of boats, trailers, and upkeep of homes. Please continue to resolve differences among yourselves and be respectful of each other. There is standard operating procedures for review/response to complaints.
Online Payment for dues – Online payment option for dues. Fifty precent paid dues online and 96% of BOHA residents have paid their dues.

Updates from City Councilman Dan Fowler
- KCI Airport -Dan Fowler announced his term will be up in three months. Gave updates on new KC airport. Approximately 80% of the vendors are local. There are beautiful features and designs. Concessions are up. There have been some complaints about pickups and arrivals. Recommend that customers use the cell phone lot and to wait on the person they are picking up.
- Districting- City made changes to districting; however, Brittany Oaks area will continue to be in the second district
- Development in the Northland
- Data Center – Meta project continues to move forward.
- Hunt Midwest Hunt Midwest will have 3500-acre industrial development north of KCI. Will largely be manufacturing and warehousing. Projected to employ 9000 employees
- Soccer Park – Broke ground and ribbon cutting on the central bank sporting complex. It has 10 fields that are interchangeable and can accommodate various sports such as soccer, baseball, softball, lacrosse, flag football, etc.…
- Englewood Road is finally completed.
- Green Hill Road- construction will be finished at some point.
Events in Kansas City
- NFL Draft KC -Projection of 300,000 people expected to attend the NFL Draft in KC from April 27-April 29th.
- World Cup is coming to KC in 2026.
