Annual Meeting Minutes
April 25, 2006
The Annual Brittany Oaks Homes Association meeting was held April 25, 2006 at Hope Fellowship Church. The meeting time was scheduled for 7:00pm. The meeting actually started at 7:14pm.
Jim Keeney, President introduced all the Board Members and Officers present. There were 21 homeowners present. A quorum was established, the elections could go forward as planned.
The floor was open to nominations for 2 Board member positions. 1- 2 year and 1- 3 year.
Gary Corley 8211 NW 82nd Court was elected to the 2 year position.
Jeff Dorward 8200 NW 82nd Court was elected to the 3 year position.
Michael Martin distributed copies of the treasure’s report. The report was approved and filed.
37 Homeowners have unpaid dues
Jim Keeney explained the increase in dues in 2003 and the improvements that were completed by those funds. Effective Sept. 2006, the dues will decrease to $80.00 per homeowner.
Discussion was open to ways to improve neighborhood; speed bumps, additional mowing and trash pick up, snow removal and closing entrance at Nodaway.
Dan Watts, officer from North Patrol was present to talk about recent vandalism and crime in and around our neighborhood.
Curfew for 17 and younger; 12:00 midnight on week nights and 1:00am weekends.
Homeowners should call police and report property damage and ask to be contacted by police for follow up.
If crime goes unreported, additional patrolling by police is harder to justify. PLEASE REPORT!

The floor was opened to discussion among Board Members, Officers and residents.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:45pm.
