Annual Meeting Minutes
April 10, 2007

The Annual Brittany Oaks Homes Association meeting was held April 10, 2007 at Hope Fellowship Church.  The meeting time was scheduled for 7:00pm. The meeting actually started at 7:10pm.

Jim Keeney, President introduced all the Board Members and Officers present. A quorum was present therefore the elections could go forward as planned.

Officer Dan Watts from KCMO Police Dept. shared some information.

ü     Stranger danger issues with children on their ways to and from school. Role play with your children and talk about the danger and what to do.

ü     Broken windows in cars in area neighborhoods

ü     Report crimes

ü     Speeding

ü     Non emergency number for police 234-5111

Treasures Report was given by Michael Martin.

Those present nominated and voted on one new board member for a three year term.

Our new member is John Nemitz. John and his family reside at 8126 N. Tipton.

One lucky homeowner received FREE homeowners dues for 2007, her name is Carrie Codding. This incentive was to encourage more attendance. Thanks to all who came to the meeting.

Sidewalks in Brittany Oaks are in need of repair. The board in taking bids and will pay those expenses.

Garage sale is scheduled for June 8 and 9, 2007.

Rob Miller, a neighbor and member of Hope Fellowship Church invited the neighbors to the church for a “movie night” May 4 at 7:00pm. The movie to be shown is “A Night at the Museum” popcorn, soda and childcare all provided.

.The floor was opened to discussion among Board Members, Officers and residents.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:15pm.
